Youth Ministry Director
Opportunity:
St. John Lutheran Church is seeking a Full Time Youth Ministry Director. This is a position requiring dedication to sharing Christian Faith and leadership among the young people of our community. This is a full-time paid position within the church.
Qualifications:
- A commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and His church
- An outgoing personality
- Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills
- The ability to motivate, coordinate and work with volunteers, parents and Pastors.
- A B.A. or B.S. in Education/Theology/Youth Development or Bible Studies or are working toward their degree.
- Previous Service in a Christian Youth Group/Church Group.
Responsibilities:
- Active involvement to encourage young people to participate in Christian Discipleship.
- Actively work with parent volunteers in organizing and coordinating confirmation classes and weekly bible studies.
- Sunday School Program for Jr. and Sr. High School.
- Special Programs / Activities – lead, plan and execute activities.
St John Lutheran Church is in Boerne, Texas, nestled in the heart of the Texas hill country, 20 minutes from San Antonio. Boerne is a growing community of over 9,000 people celebrating many multi-denominational activities. St. John Lutheran Church is blessed with a desire to serve and support the youth in our church & community. Over the years we have blessed and have been blessed by many active youth and parents.
