Palm Sunday on April 17th marks the beginning of Holy Week. The traditional Palm Sunday worship celebration will feature the procession of palms and the celebration of Holy Communion at both services. Holy Week Services continue on Maundy Thursday Good Friday Services of worship include a 10 AM service of Holy Communion in the Historic Chapel as well as a Good Friday Tennebrae service at 6:45 PM in the sanctuary. The Children’s’ Easter Party will take place in Luther Hall on Holy Saturday, April 23rd, from 11 AM to 1 PM as children and their families gather for an Easter Egg Hunt, All Around Easter Hunt and Party. The Easter Breakfast tradition continues as the Men of The Church prepare an Easter Breakfast of pancakes and sausage for the congregation with serving from 7 AM until 10 AM. Net proceeds from the free will offering will go toward the Adult Classrooms Equipment Fund for providing flat screen TV’s and digital players for each adult classroom. Easter Sunday Services for The Festival Of The Resurrection of Our Lord will be held at the regular worship times of 8:00 AM and 10:30 AM . The Sanctuary Choir will bring their choral anthem to both services and brass instruments will add to the festive 10:30 AM Worship.
